Land of Dasara is a distinctive sobriquet that the city has earned for itself, with the eye-catching festivities and large scale celebrations. In keeping with this, we organise a doll show every year on the occasion of Dasara, as per Indian tradition. Students, teachers and parents join hands in putting up a beautiful display of both traditional and modern dolls, as also cultural performances related to Navratri.
The tradition of organising doll show dates back to nearly 12 years ago, when around 150 dolls were displayed in the campus. The event gets bigger and better every year, with multitudes of dolls being displayed amidst varying themes. The dolls are arranged as per the traditional nine-step method and the display is tastefully decorated.
Being a quality education provider, the institution believes in offering real life experiences to students that have the potential to foster social skills and acquaint them with our rich culture. Activities are structured such that there is meaningful collaboration among the golden trio of teacher, parent and student. The Dasara Doll Show is one such activity that familiarises our young learners with tradition and encourages hands-on participation.
